  • João Trabulo Producer On The Move

    The Producers On the Move initiative, funded by the Media Programme and promoted by European Film Promotion (EFP), offers to the participants, during Cannes Film Festival, a great opportunity to establish contacts with representatives of European funds, as well as the most talented young European producers, selected by the national member body from EFP.
    Having EFP requirements in consideration, ICA indicated João Trabulo from Periferia Filmes as the Portuguese representative.

    João Trabulo co-produced “A History of Mutual Respect”, by Gabriel Abrantes and Daniel Schmidt, Golden Leopard at the 2010 Locarno Film Festival, later selected for several international film festivals, “Lusitanian Illusion”, by João Canijo, selected, among others, to festivals in the U.S. (Provincetown), Mozambique (Dokanema) and Portugal (IndieLisboa) and directed “No Company”, award for best cinematography in the latest edition of IndieLisboa and was selected for several international film festivals like Cinema du Réel in Paris on the international competition and recently in competition at the International Documentary Film Festival from Montevideo.
